Why Being Quiet Can Still Make an Impact in a Noisy World

Author: Martin Koss | Founder of inLouth (Louth, Lincolnshire) and 28 Pixels Ltd.

Writing isnโ€™t about shouting louder than everyone else. Not to me, anyway. The world is deafening enough as it is. Writing is my escape. My quiet corner. My sanity. Well, most days at least. Some days itโ€™s just me glaring at a blinking cursor, wondering what the hell to say next.

Iโ€™m not the loudest in the room, and I never will be. Iโ€™ve always been more โ€œbackroom staffโ€ than someone wanting the spotlight. Iโ€™m happy being the one fixing things, researching, testing, tweaking. You know, all the unglamorous stuff that a lot of folks donโ€™t want to do.

Social media stardom? Nah, not my vibe. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I see the appeal. But itโ€™s just not me. As I said above (and forgive me for repeating) the world has got enough noise. What it needs more of is thoughtfulness. People who give a damn.

Writing is where I feel at home, whether itโ€™s for one of my own projects like inLouth, a website dedicated to my hometown of Louth, Lincolnshire, or for my clients, like PP Tuning opens in a new tab and TH Performance opens in a new tab. Itโ€™s about putting something that matters to me into words, not just adding to the noise.

The Power of Thoughtful Content

Not everyone is chasing flashy headlines or hollow clickbait promises. Thereโ€™s still a market โ€“ and a need โ€“ for content with substance. Thoughtful, researched, authentic. You know, the kind that actually helps people.

Thatโ€™s my focus. Digging into a topicโ€™s nuances, creating content that sticks, and ensuring itโ€™s optimised for the ever-changing online landscape. Whether itโ€™s fine-tuning an SEO strategy or figuring out how AI search is flipping the script again, my priority is clarity over chaos.

Loud might grab attention, but quiet can hold onto it.

Standing Out Without Selling Out

The online world is absolutely flooded with gimmicks, clickbait, and shouty nonsense. Although it can be tempting to join the circus just to get noticed, Iโ€™d rather not. My belief is simple: content should be real, useful and, most importantly, worth the readerโ€™s time.

Surprise, surprise โ€“ thatโ€™s exactly what modern search engines want too. Genuine, well-written content that reflects the authorโ€™s voice and values of the brand. Whether itโ€™s a local Lincolnshire business or a high-performance tuning specialist, authenticity wins.

Thatโ€™s the kind of work I do. The kind that earns trust and loyalty over time.

Commitment to Every Project

Every piece I write, whether itโ€™s a quick blog post or a bigger campaign โ€“ the kind that starts with a big idea and cascades into something unforgettable โ€“ gets the same level of dedication.

I donโ€™t do filler. I research, refine, and edit until every word earns its place. Writing is not about pumping out content at warp speed. Itโ€™s about creating something that sticks, something that takes readers on a journey worth their time.

The Quiet Advantage

While the bold, noisy, and brash often grab attention in the short term, thereโ€™s a quiet power in depth. Those who truly want to connect, learn, or solve a problem are drawn to depth, not drama. And thatโ€™s where I, and people like me, have the advantage.

The internet needs more thoughtful voices, and Iโ€™m proud to be one of them.
