Website content that gets you found

Words That Convert Copywriting 28 Pixels Louth

I write website pages and articles that answer the questions your customers type into Google and ask ChatGPT. Every piece is researched, written in your voice from the facts you give me, and set up so search engines and AI tools can read it, quote it and send people your way.

It’s the work that keeps bringing in enquiries long after a social media post has disappeared.

Why most local business websites don’t get found

Take your business name off your home page. Could the words belong to any of your competitors? For most local businesses, the honest answer is yes.

Generic words don’t rank, don’t get quoted by AI tools, and don’t convince anyone. Pages like “Welcome to our website, we pride ourselves on quality and service” answer nothing a customer is actually asking.

The businesses that get found are the ones that answer real questions clearly. How much does it cost? How long does it take? Do you cover my area? What should I expect? Which option is right for me? Answer those on your own website, and Google and AI tools have a reason to send people to you.

What I write

  • Service pages that explain what you do, who it’s for, what it costs and how to book, with the answer up front.
  • Articles built around the questions your customers ask, each one adding something they won’t find on every other site: your experience, your prices, your local knowledge.
  • FAQs with schema markup, so Google and AI tools can lift the answers directly.
  • Area pages for the towns you cover, written to be useful rather than the same page with the town name swapped.
  • Home and About pages that make it obvious, in seconds, who you are and why someone should pick you.
  • Case studies that show real work and real results.

Every piece comes with its meta title and description, headings, internal links to your other pages, and image suggestions.

Written in your voice, not AI’s

You don’t need to be a writer. You give me the raw facts: what you do, how you do it, what customers ask, what makes you different. I turn that into clear pages that sound like you.

I use AI tools every day and I know what they’re good for. Writing your content in a generic AI voice isn’t one of them. Customers can spot it, and so can Google. Your content needs your knowledge and your opinions, because that’s what makes it worth reading and worth recommending.

What regular content does for a business

PP Tuning has had new articles added to their site regularly for a few years. Owner Jason reports sales up by at least a third on previous years, put down to the exposure that content created. Read the PP Tuning story.

“28 Pixels helped us with our website, content creation, optimisation and everything related to growing our online visibility. The difference has been huge.”

My own blog gets thousands of visits without being shared on social media. Here’s how.

One-off pages or regular content

One-off: a set of new or rewritten pages, such as your services, your FAQs or your area pages. Fixed price, agreed up front.

Regular: new articles every month, planned around what your customers search for and what’s working. This is where the results build up, because every article keeps working for years.

Who writes the content

Me, Martin Koss. I’ve been writing for the web since 1994, and I run inLouth opens in a new tab, the community hub for Louth, where I write about local businesses. Nothing gets passed to a junior writer or an overseas content farm.

Questions about Website Content

Do you use AI to write the content?

I use AI tools for research and checking, the same way I’d use any other tool. The writing is built from your facts and your voice, and I edit every word. Generic AI content doesn’t get businesses found, so I don’t sell it.

How much do I need to do?

Very little. A short conversation or a list of notes about your business and your customers is enough to start. You check each piece before it goes live.

Can you add content to my existing website?

Yes. If I host your site, I’ll publish it for you. If someone else does, I’ll send you the finished pages ready to paste in, with headings, meta descriptions and schema.

How long before content brings in enquiries?

New pages can be found within days, but it usually takes a few months for a steady flow of visits to build. That’s why regular content works better than a one-off burst.
